I have been a life member for many years, and have only gotten a bare hook to "test." I didn't know about a rod and reel being given out, but that must have been to "hook" the new members. I haven't received anything from NAFC for a long time, so I assume they took every body's money and went on a fishing trip.
I kinda figured that when a person had to get points to test some product, that something was going on. I don't see why companies, or the people who start them, have to be so deceitful. I know that I am not alone in this matter, so I suggest that everybody who has been affected by this mess, to join in. Also, spread the word, talk to your friends, and get the word out.
